It is New Year's Eve and I'm at home not doing anything. I have a little drainage in my throat so it is good to stay home. Plus, I had my New Year's Eve on Friday the 29th when I invaded El SQUID ROE in Cabo San Lucas Mexico. It was awesome. It was packed. SQUID ROE is the double decker bar in San Lucas that has no roof in some places. There is a lot of sheet metal and they close down long enough in the morning to spray the vomit of the floor. There is loud music. It is the place to be. All people go there. It is really a place for 19 and 20 year old americanos to get into a bar and have fun. Young people were really hammered. Those americanos, I tell you, it was great. I was there from about 2 to 3 in the morning. Outside the bar, 3 different pushers offered me drogas. If you not smart like me, you may get into trouble. Then, I hit the tamale truck outside with Cece. It was awesome. I had two tamales de puerco. So, that was my New Year's Eve. It was fun. Before that we hit Hagar's Cabo Wabo. It was good. Another place with loud music and lights. Cece's friends came along or we went with them. They were very nice. It was the same house band as last summer. They are all right. They play all kinds of covers. I bet they have to play I can't drive 55 everynight. That might be a good gig. Hang in Cabo all the time being the house band at Cabo Wabo. I could be the front man. Not the singer, but the front man. I'm a good front man, not a good singer. Before this, we were in San Jose del Cabo at some Martini bar next to the big Mega store by condo drive. Richy sophisticates hang in that area, that is why I was there.
Cabo was fun this year. I got there on the 23rd. Cece and her friend picked me up from the airport. It was better than any taxi. I stayed out in the suburbs of San Jose del Cabo. I went to the Oxxo and got some Sol. The house was nice. It had tile. I like tile. On Xmas eve, I got to drive a Toyota pick up truck with almost 200,000 miles on it to San Lucas. We bummed around and hit the Baja Cantina. There were a lot of americanos watching football. We ate at a locals place in town. It was good. I had some fish burritos. They were good. It was nice. On Xmas eve, we went to some friend's house, the same woman that picked me up from the airport. We sat outside all night almost drinking beer, tequila and eating turkey, ham, and some other stuff. It was fun. There were people out all over town. You could hear loud music. I guess there are no noise complaints in San Jose del Cabo. The woman's husband left and came back with a new car for her. It was a new Beetle. It was nice. You could tell they liked each other. It was beautiful. We stayed out there very late. The people were very nice to me. Little kids sang Karoke. It was fun.
X-mas day we walked to the highway and took the bus to San Jose downtown area. It was nice. It had tourist shops and restaurants and a nice plaza that was all decorated for the holidays. We went to Shooter's bar on top of a building. I ate some nachos. They were good. There were a lot of old rich guys up there watching football americano. I be they lived in the condo roe that was nearby. We walked back up the street were not many tourists go. It was fun. There was no bus or taxi back so we walked. The couple drove by and picked us up. They said that we should just use the truck. So, we drove that back.
On the 26th, we took the truck to San Lucas, we went to the beach. We hung there for a while then took the water taxi. We drove out to the big rocks. It was open sea water taxi. It was swell as the swells were kind of big. The lover's beach was packed. The only way to get there is by boat. I took about 50 pictures out there. We walked around town and went to RIPS by Cabo Wabo. I drank a coffee before that and bought some souvenirs. We hit the mega on the way back. I needed some fruit.
On the 27th, we went to the Bahia Chileno. It was pretty. It was a good nice day. Very pretty. There were a lot of people there. We hit San Jose and bought some tamales.
On the 28th, I did some more shopping in San Lucas. It started to rain a little. It never rains there. It didn't last very long. I ate some food at the Baja Cantina and watched the boats.
It was fun. I was treated very well. I stayed in the suburbs. I sat in the morning sol by a 20 foot cement block wall. It was great to drink coffee out there. I heated water on the stove to take a shower with. I did one cold shower and I couldn't take it. The weather was nice. It was chilly at night.
