theJEDMAN NATION-A New Wave Manifesto
Documenting the JED Experience

I went to see the border war between the universities of Kansas and Missouri. Kansas crushed them. That is not important. Before the game, young college girls adorned with cereal malt beverages talked to theJEDMAN on the hill by the pre-game radio remote. Then, after the game young inebriated college girls demanded high fives from theJEDMAN on Mississippi Street near the famous 929 venue. What is important? theJEDMAN is still coveted by young college girls. theJEDMAN
I did some damage recently in the Grandview bars. It was nuts. Within one week, I hit the Elbow Bend and Bike Nites. They had pitchers. I don't think it is really a good policy for mature adults to drink pitchers, because you never remember how much you drank out of the pitcher and you don't really need to drink that much beer anyway. It is better just to buy individual beers and quit somewhere between 0 and 4. So, in the future, I think we should forgo the buying of pitchers for the buying of individual beers only. Elbow Bend is awesome. Bike Nites is awesome. I was part of an importand professional seminar there last week. Both of these clubs just might be too much fun to ever attend again. It would be difficult to recapture the magic of these week of damage in the Grandview Clubs. theJEDMAN
I really heard these. I'm not making them up.
"I'm down at Hooter's so much that people call down to Hooter's looking for me."
"I think I can get out of it because the cop asked me if I had been drinking beer. Well, everyone who knows me know that I only drink crown."
"I don't like labels. I mean, you say, see that guy. He's a punker. Well, how do you know he's not a poser?"
"What do you mean, you don't like Def Leppard?"
"Sometimes, we don't know how dumb you are?"
"There's been a lot of talk. Sometimes too much talk. This is not a rebel song. This is Sunday, Bloody Sunday."
"We've got to get extra movies in our customers hands." "I want you CSRs out on the floor talking to customers. You don't make sales at the register. You make sales out on the floor." "We've got plenty of things to sell. We got samsung video tapes. We've got candy bars. We've got a lot of things we can sell."
