I got jacked at the corporate coffee house. It was devastatingly cold out. I went in to warm up and to read a magazine. I got my regular corporate non-designer coffee. I beat the system by not falling into the trap of buying the high end drinks. I went to the corner chair in front of the sofa to sit by myself. I wasn't there five minutes when these three adults and four kids invaded my space. They sat right next to me. Practically, they moved in right on top of me. This kid kept running into my leg. His dad kept telling him not to, but he did it anyway. The other kids were crawling all over the place. I would have tried to leave, but I would have smashed a little kid trying to step over them. I was furious. Eventually they left. The corporate coffee house is for adults to sit and talk quietly or read in a quiet environment. It is not for little kids. I couldn't believe that those people were so bold to do that, even when it was obvious that the kids were physically invading my space by bumping into me. The thing that is funny is that there were plenty of other seats to sit in. There should be a rule of space distribution in seating in public spaces. theJEDMAN
