My fantasy football team in the Topflight league finally won a game. I'm now 1-10. This is the league that I went 12-1 in last year and also I won the league scoring title. My team is bad this year. I really wanted to go for a perfect winless season, but it was not to be. I could have really tanked it and lost, but I wanted to play it straight and start the best players I could get. Trent Green scored 10 over his season average to help theJEDHEADS to the win. It is really devestating for my opponent, because in this league you do not lose to theJEDHEADS. theJEDMAN

Writing about sports is so boring. I still watch sports and I attend games although not as many as I used to. KU basketball has started. It is not as good as it used to be. With a very few exceptions, Coach Roy used to get guys that would have probably been in college without basketball. Coach Bill has guys on the team that are only in college because of basketball. I don't think there is as much to cheer for. College basketball has turned too much into the NBA. All it is is post up and kick out. No movement and no cheap baskets because of ball movement. It is boring to watch. Plus, I learned a hard lesson in investing too much into team. The 95 Chiefs broke my spirit. I'm a passive fan I don't really care. I just hope it is a good competative game.

I was at some cheap bar in Olathe. There were a lot of young people there. You could see people walking in from the parking lot. These two cheesy looking women were walking in from the parking lot. I could see them coming. When they got inside, one of them has a can of bud light in her hand. I couldn't stop laughing. It was an ultimate white trash moment. theJEDMAN

I went to Hooter's the other night. I was talking to the Italian girl behind the bar. She has a lot of the qualities coveted by the superfiscial man. She was telling me that she had to work until close tonight. She said she would get home about 2AM. Then she had to come in for an employee meeting at 8am. Then she was to go church. She is a good wholesome girl. Then she had to go back and work from 4 to close and be there to open Monday morning. She is a soldier. She is a warrior. She has discpline and perserverance. Hard work made this county what it is. You think working at Hooter's is all glamour. Think again.
This reminded me of my days in the biz. I remember once at Applause Video, I worked from 4pm to 1am on a Saturday. Then I worked open to close on a Sunday which was 8am to 10:30. Then I had to open up on Monday. Many times at the Subway. I worked many days in a row and only went home to sleep. You can do that when you are young, but it damages you soul. theJEDMAN

November 6, 2005---- I didn't go to the Chiefs-Raiders game. It was out of my control. Well, I guess I could have bought my own ticket, but that would have ended my streak of freeloading. I looked up the history and I think the last time I missed one was in the 70s. I watched it at Tanner's. They got new TVs there. There are a bunch of weirdos at places like that. theJEDMAN
November 5, 2005---- I got to go to a party for the QUICK. It was in a compound. I had to go through a gate to get there. It was awesome. The QUICK is awesome. The party was for what theQUICK participated in. Everything associated with theQUICK gleams of class. It was way better than anything else I could have done this day. It is quite a privilege to see the QUICK on consecutive nights. They had nuts. theJEDMAN
November 5, 2005---I went to the big Jayhawk husking of the Cornhuskers. It was pretty good. There were trespassing violations. I know how they can curb the goal post destruction. All they have to do is have one guy by each post with a gun. He just has to shoot one person. That will stop it. Then, they leave the dead guy there until the next game to discourage this behavior. KU football is awesome. KU basketball is just something to pass the time between the fall football season and spring football practice. theJEDMAN
November 4, 2005-----I got to see theQUICK. He was coaching his American football team from T-Town in the JOCO. They didn't fair well tonight, but theQUICK is awesome. I also got to promote international relations. It was a full evening of humanitarianism for theJEDMAN

Don't even think about calling me on Wednesday nights at 8 pm central time. I'm watching the Apprentice, Martha Stewart.

I got a slushy drink at Sonic last week on my way to the south side of the metro. I took a few sips. Then, I had a horrible brain freeze. I had never felt pain like that. It was unbelievable. theJEDMAN
