Documenting the JED Experience

-I got to hang with Manino last weekend. Manino is awesome. Manino ate baby backs. Manino offered to host theJEDMAN for every Sunday this year to watch NFL on his big TV.
-I've been to the Other Place a few times to get some pizza. For some reason when you order, they want you to give your name. In those situations I always use Steve because no one really understands the name JEDMAN when I say it, plus I need anonimity or my fans will mob me. Anyway, when I go in there now, the girl calls me Steve. She thinks my name is Steve. I've fooled her.
-I really need to find something to do. I think I should start fishing with the guys. I just have to find some guys to fish with. I'll have to figure out how to do that.

Well, I can't stand Britney Spears anymore. I think she was a lot smarter when she was 17. It is unreal how dumb she is. I think most celebrities started out as freaks of mental nature, but some like Britney turn into freaks of mental nature as they get more famous. Everytime I see her on TV, I can only stand about 2 seconds of it. It is really painful. theJEDMAN

I went to the Einstein Bagel place and they were out of hummus at 6 in the morning. I was destroyed. I'm a big chick pea fan. How could this happen? It shouldn't happen in the JOCO. That is bad management. I might never go there again. theJEDMAN

This is the California report. It will take me awhile to write this so check back to see if there is more.

I went to California this July. My host family was Brent Wood and Luther. They were excellent hosts. They toured me and drove me around. Everyday was jam packed with non-stop activities of fun. Here are the highlights.
-Luther and I bought a cot at a high tech camping store. Then, we carried on the subway and ate some Japanese food. We then took it on the subway. It was in a big box so we could smash people that messed with us. This cot turned out to be a good buy. I slept on it the almost the whole time. It was comfortable and easy on my back.
- I made pickle snacks and they were good pickle snacks. Pickle snacks are easy to make. Put pickles on plate and serve.
-We rode boats. We rode the ferry from Oakland to SF several times. Then, we road a big bay cruiser with a bunch of italianos. I like boats. Boats are good. When you make it in the world you have boats. I guess I haven't made it yet. I don't even have boat.
-Brent Wood, Luther and I ate crab sandwiches in the shadow of the bay bridge with a nice leafy green salad. The crab was on good bread. Leafy green lettuce is good.
-We went to Yosemite. We rode bikes through the park. I grilled potatoes, corn, tofu dogs and pork and beans in the shadows of El Capitan. I dropped some of the food on the fire, but I served it to Brent Wood and Luther anyway.
-We went to the glacier hill in the park. We walked up farther. I was trapped by a bunch of crazys from Cincinnati. I was forced to take their picture.
-On the last day, Brent Wood came up with the quote of the trip. Brent Wood said to me, "Sometimes, we don't know how dumb you are."
-I ate a lot of fake meat. It was good sometimes and not so good other times, but I tell you that fake meat really goes through you. I liked that part of it.
-I biked the bridge. Brent Wood and Luther took their bikes over on the boat and I rented a bike. We road all along the water from the ball park to Marin county. It was fun. There were a lot of beautifulers on the trail. I destroyed the field, but I'm a strong rider.
-I learned a lot. I didn't know that actual Russians were in Northern California looking for otter pelts.
-I learned that you can make fake meat out of wheat.
-Brent Wood, Luther and I canoed the Russian River. We camped between the river and the highway and paddled 10 miles down the river. We crashed into trees, bushes and rocks, but we didn't turn the canoe over. We were awesome. It was fun.
-I drank two Jamba Juices in Berkeley. We also broke into the football stadium and took over crushing a cheerleading camp. I love Berkeley. I bought three Cal Berkeley T-shirts. I should go to grad school there.
-I got to see both live and dead fish in Chinatown and on Clement Street. I like fish.
-We ate omelets in Oakland.
-We hit all the neighborhoods. We hit Russian Hill, Castro, Mision, North Beach, Pacific Heights, Chinatown, Japan Town, Marina, Warf, etc. It was fun.
-I saw some really big dudes drinking really pink fluffy corporate coffee drinks with no sole on the street in the Castro. I tell you that corporate coffee with no sole is quite the racket.
-We rode the Bart to the Haight. I had to go so bad when we got there that I was able to use a portable unit outside the house of some beautifulers on the hill by the park near the Haight. Good thing they were doing construction.
-I decided that Pinot Noir is my favorite wine. I really like it. I think the good bottles start at $4.99. I'm a big Pinot fan.
-I ate a huge burrito in the Mision. It was awesome. Burritos are good.
-We went to the Coppola Wine place in the Napa Valley. There were beautifulers there. It was great.
